Volunteer Opportunities

Diegueno parent volunteers play an essential role in enriching the school experience. From transforming classrooms into vibrant showcases for events like the Science Fair, DIGS (Discover, Investigate, Grow, Share), and seasonal celebrations, their creativity and dedication help bring our community to life.

In addition to event support, parent volunteers contribute in many other meaningful ways:

• Photography & Yearbook: Capture classroom memories and assist with the annual digital yearbook compilation.

• Parent Socials: Host gatherings through the Diegueno Parent Organization to foster community spirit.

• Book Fairs: Collaborate with the administration to organize and run book fairs.

• Theater Support: Help the Theater Director with costumes, props, and set design.

• Class Parent Roles:

  • Secretary: Acts as the key communicator for classroom updates.

  • Treasurer: Manages the class budget, collects contributions, and maintains financial records.
