Service Learning

At Diegueno character development is just as important as academic growth. We pride ourselves on nurturing each child to become a compassionate, responsible global citizen. This commitment to character and global citizenship shines through in our everyday activities and service projects. We provide our children with a framework for organizing and implementing meaningful service projects that connect their minds, hearts, and hands.  Students engage in national initiatives such as the fight against hunger, and take part in international projects supporting girls’ education in India. With inspiration from the teachings of the school staff, we believe that our children, when informed and empowered, can truly change the world.
